The Baumalight RSS580 Log Splitter is a high-torque, skid steer-mounted log splitter engineered for serious wood processing. Designed to split logs up to 12 to 20 feet long, the RSS580 is powered by a hydraulically-driven motor mounted on a planetary drive, delivering maximum torque directly to the helical splitting head. The bit features dual machined spirals that converge at a hardened, replaceable tip for efficient boring and splitting. Built with a 2” hex shaft or flange mount and protected by an integrated shield, the RSS580 is designed for both horizontal and vertical operation—making it the ultimate tool for high-volume log splitting.
